AN EVENING OF CLASSIC COCKTAILS 16th JULY / HEBDEN WINE CLUB #3

All the golden oldies…

To continue our Hebden Wine Club event series, we will be bringing you an evening celebrating classic cocktails and its culture.

Since modern bar culture began in the 1920’s it has defined a century of drinks. ‘The classics’ as they are warmly known have become staples in all of the worlds best bars and have enjoyed a recent resurgence. We only need to mention the Negroni (which has been a COIN staple since day one) to get people excited. We pride ourselves on serving classics well at COINm, so we though our next event should simply celebrate something we hold so close to our identity. The plan is a boozy hump day in early August, we will be serving five classics, drinks that make us bartenders return to time and again. The line up is to be confirmed, but we will most likely represent all the major spirit groups and i can confirm there will be a manhattan, it’s my favourite. Food for the evening will be Savoy inspired canapés for the table; smoked salmon, oysters, you get the idea.

This event will be priced at £50pp and will include five classic cocktails and a selection of canapés. We have a limited number of tickets available for this event, around half what we usually offer simply due to limitations of serving ice cold cocktails on mass.
